Lord, please give the book “favor”
Favor is that blessing from God that makes something or something attractive to others. It opens doors and draws appreciation. I often pray this for myself, the church, as well as specific individuals and ministries. I have found that the Lord can do amazing things for us by gracing us and our efforts for Him with that intangible something called “favor.”
Linda and I traveled to the beautiful Maine coast (yes, we had a little lobster) on Monday to attend a ministers’ institute. It was a wonderful time of refreshing and fellowship. While there I was able to introduce The Power of Return to a large number of people and put it in the hands of several among whom were the General Superintendent of our movement and a college president. I am now asking the Lord to give the book favor… that it will not sit lonely and unread on their desks but that it will be attractive to them. Thank you Lord.
