It is good to remember…
As I sat on the couch last Monday morning in my time with the Lord He reminded me of an hour 35 years ago. It was 1975. I was in Bible School at Northwest College. It was late – in the wee hours of the morning. I was studying for Daniel/Revelatioin. As I read the book of Daniel I came across these words spoken to Daniel by an angel, “Thou art greatly beloved” (Daniel 9:23). He is also told this in Dan. 10:11 and 10:19. Somehow as I read these words they were not just spoken to Daniel they were being spoken to me! Vibrant, penetrating my soul and heart. I was overwhelmed with the sure knowledge that for some unexplainable reason God loved me! I still can’t explain it. All I can do is draw strength from it. This knowledge may be a critical foundation stone in our return to the Lord.
